The Hight Street retailer, which has a rich coastal heritage, will stock Oceanographic Magazine from launch. For every magazine sold, £2 will be donated to ocean conservation charities.
The deal will see Crew become Oceanographic’s primary High Street stockist.
“Crew Clothing’s coastal heritage makes it the ideal High Street home for Oceanographic Magazine,” said Oceanographic editor Will Harrison. “We’re delighted to be associating ourselves with such a well-regarded brand, particularly one that has always maintained a close connection with the sea.
“With £2 from every sale in Crew stores donated to ocean conservation initiatives, Crew’s customers can feel good about their purchase – both for the donation they have made to the pursuit of improved ocean health and the great read that awaits them when they get home.”
The opportunity to collaborate with an exciting and ethically-focussed magazine was an opportunity Crew Clothing Company felt they couldn’t miss, according to Naomi Parry, Head of Marketing for the company.
“It’s exciting to be part of a project that’s aiming to reconnect people with our ocean, something that has always been important to us as a company,” she said. “The spotlight is on the ocean perhaps more than ever before and we’re delighted to be contributing to the fight by fundraising through our stores.”
Oceanographic Magazine launches on May 5 and will be available to purchase in Crew stores for £6.
