In his next video column, highly decorated underwater photographer Henley Spiers chats through the art of using slow shutter speed in underwater photography to create unique and powerful images.
He says: “To begin with, in photography, of course everything is about being able to capture what is in front of you, to capture it sharply, with clarity. Slow shutter images can add something completely different to your photographic portfolio. When we start to deliberately control the addition of some blur through the use of the shutter speed, we can achieve something completely different.”
