The story behind this print, in the words of photographer Todd Glaser: "I took this image with a drone which was new to me. I have photographed Banzai Pipeline on the North Shore of O’ahu from every angle but have never seen it from above. I managed to get the swell, weather, wind, tide, and talent all in one shot. The rainbow at the edge of the wave is what made this one so special to me."
This image, taken in Hawaii, was awarded first place in the Ocean Adventure Photographer of the Year category at OPY2023.
