From rivers to the sea: What local waters tell us about the global ocean

From the rivers of Great Britain to the coasts of Ireland, Scotland, England, and Wales - the wild salmon is not only emblematic of our cultural heritage and historical relationship with our own waterways, but a sentinel of the health of the global ocean. Through the lens of some of the UK’s most passionate and knowledgeable wild salmon advocates, Oceanographic and Finisterre explore the health of UK waters and its implication for a species beloved across the global ocean.
