The Defiant Shore: St Agnes and the fight for our ocean

St Agnes has always been a place of defiance. Its legend tells of a young woman who stood her ground against a giant terrorising its very coastline - and in many ways, not much has changed.

Today, this small Cornish village is a heartbeat of ocean campaigning, home to some of the most passionate and effective ocean health organisations in the country.

This evening brings together surfers, swimmers, scientists, and campaigners who share a single conviction - that the ocean is worth fighting for.

Join Oceanographic and a line-up of expert guest speakers as we talk honestly about the threats facing our coastline and our global ocean, and celebrate what we are fighting to protect.

If Agnes taught us anything, it's that when a community stands its ground, giants can fall.
