Category winners from OPY2022 adorn Queen’s Walk in London, beneath the shadow of the iconic Tower Bridge. This image was taken shortly after installation, which takes place between 4am and 6am before the city wakes.

Visitors to ANMM are invited to leave their thoughts on the ‘TELL US’ wall, a powerful community engagement piece that allows people to participate in OPY2023 rather than simply view the images.

The Ocean Conservation (Hope) images display a dazzling array of colours and contrast – an immersive and emotional reminder of the beauty below the waterline.

The Shard and City Hall, the London Mayor’s office, rise high above Highly Commended images from OPY2021.

The entrance to the OPY2023 exhibition at ANMM includes a ‘Directors’ Choice’ image, as chosen by the museum’s director Daryl Karp, along with the overall top 3 images and an info/welcome wall.

Passers-by enjoy photographs from OPY2021. More than 1 million people engage with this outdoor, free-to-see exhibition each time in runs. 

The OPY2023 Portfolios – 1st, 2nd and 3rd – were displayed at ANMM on stunning back-lit fabric frames, black material that offers superb contrast and allows the images to ‘pop’.
