The story behind this print, in the words of photographer Renee Capozzola: “This image of blacktip reef sharks at sunset seen through Snell’s window was shot in a shallow lagoon and is an example of a healthy marine environment where sharks thrive thanks to their strong legal protections. This image gives a glimpse of how the ocean can look when we give it a chance and protect it.”
This image, taken in French Polynesia, was part of Renee's collection of photographs submitted to the Ocean Portfolio Award at OPY2023, where she was awarded second place.
