Marko Dimitrijevic is a Swiss photographer and entrepreneur who has spent his life documenting the natural world. Self-taught in the field, he began as a teenager photographing his backyard and later turned to endangered wildlife, marine species, and ecosystems, working both below and above water. In 2022 he published BIG with his friend Amos Nachoum, a collection of their most dramatic wildlife images and the stories behind them. His photographs - shot everywhere from Antarctica and the Canadian Arctic to the Galápagos, Mozambique, and French Polynesia - reveal a marked sensitivity toward his subjects, born of countless hours spent studying animal behavior and waiting patiently for the moment of communion in which a timeless image is made. His work has been widely awarded and published, from The Sunday Times to Nature's Best Photography.
