“In Trincomalee in Sri Lanka, we set out to find whales but to no avail. Instead, we were greeted by a serene, sunny day and I suggested a spontaneous underwater photo shoot,” says Wan Yong. “As my skilled freediver friends took their positions, hanging upside down beneath the boat, I snapped a shot. I captured them like otherworldly spidermen, defying gravity and basking in their unique moment of underwater grace.”
