Finalist Conservation (Hope) Photographer of the Year
Mok Wai Hoe Raja Ampat, Indonesia
"Raja Ampat, or the Four Kings, is an archipelago comprising over 1,500 small islands in West Papua, Indonesia," says Mok Wai Hoe. "It is part of the Coral Triangle, which contains the richest marine biodiversity on earth - 600 species of corals, or 75% of all species in the world, are found here. In this reefscape photo, a variety of corals is completely covered by two schools of sweeper fish. The silver sweepers cover the top half of the picture, and the golden sweepers cover the bottom. The composition shows abundance in its most beautiful form."
